International Mail

The International Mail Department is the institutional representative of the country in the global postal sector. Its mission is to monitor international developments and formulate policies that enhance the modernization and competitiveness of postal services. It actively participates in international organizations, associations, and conferences, representing Greece and contributing to the formation of strategic positions and agreements at the European and international levels.

The Department promotes the harmonization of the national regulatory framework with Union and international law through legislative and regulatory acts and collaborates with competent authorities and the Universal Service Provider to fulfill international obligations. Additionally, it monitors the work of the European Union on new regulations, such as those concerning cross-border parcel deliveries, and collects data from relevant bodies to support the country's positions with evidence.

Through its actions, the International Mail Department ensures that Greece remains an active and reliable partner in the international postal environment, contributing to the formation of a modern and competitive service framework.
