The Department of Exhibitions, Publications, and Information of the Philatelic and Postal Museum has the mission of promoting and highlighting the history of the Greek postal service and philately. Through the organization of periodic exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural activities, the Department offers visitors a unique experience of getting to know the postal heritage.
It curates the Service's publications and collaborates with museums and international organizations for the development of exchanges of exhibits and ideas. At the same time, it informs citizens about the Museum's operations, organizes tours, and manages the photographic archive and library, enriching it with Greek and foreign publications.
The Department serves specialized researchers, promotes philately, and takes care of financial management issues, including sponsorships and donations. Additionally, it offers the public series of stamps and collectible products, handles exchange matters with foreign countries, and represents the Museum at the European and international levels.
Through its activities, the Department contributes to the dissemination of philatelic culture and the enhancement of the country's cultural presence, connecting the past with the future of the postal service.
