Artificial Intelligence is rapidly developing and shaping, creating new possibilities in every field ~ from public administration to space technology. At the AIForum25 conference, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, the challenges and opportunities of this new era were discussed, bringing together the scientific community, the business world, and the State in a common dialogue.
During the Fireside Chat II “Unlocking new AI frontiers in Space”, the Secretary General of Telecommunications and Post, Konstantinos Karantzalos, referred to the role of AI in the field of Space and the utilization of data in critical areas such as security, forecasting, and phenomenon analysis. As he characteristically mentioned: “In the space sector, we are overall trying to create four satellite production lines, from the one we have today, to achieve autonomy. At the same time, we are investing in new fields such as space robotics and robotic systems.” Artificial Intelligence is horizontally integrated into all strategies formulated by the Ministry and is a central tool for development and innovation, offering solutions that enhance forecasting, security, and improve efficiency in all sectors.
