The "Gigabit Voucher" program, which is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0", funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
The program, implemented by the "Information Society S.A." (KtP S.A.), an agency of the Ministry of Digital Governance, has a total budget of €80 million and aims to promote ultra-high-speed broadband connections to households and small and medium-sized enterprises that do not have a broadband connection with a download speed of at least 100 Mbps. Through a subsidy, part of the cost of acquiring the Gigabit service is covered, including installation costs, terminal equipment, and the monthly fee for 24 months.
The beneficiaries of the program are households and small and medium-sized enterprises (including self-employed professionals) located in buildings in the intervention areas and do not have a connection greater than 100 Mbps. Beneficiaries will receive, without income criteria, a voucher worth €200, covering up to 50% of eligible expenses. Eligible expenses include the one-time activation cost, the necessary terminal equipment, horizontal wiring to the extent necessary to provide the service, and the monthly fee for the first 24 months of the subscription.

The phases of the program are four (4) and are related to building connections through the "Smart Readiness" Program:
- Phase A: Distribution of 200,000 vouchers, with the completion of 60,000 connections under the Smart Readiness Program.
- Phase B: Distribution of 100,000 vouchers, with the condition of completing 30,000 connections of the Smart Readiness Program.
- Phase C: Distribution of 50,000 vouchers, with the completion of 15,000 connections of the Smart Readiness Program.
- Phase D: Distribution of 50,000 vouchers, with the completion of the remaining 15,000 connections of the Smart Readiness Program.
