The Secretary General of Telecommunications & Post, Konstantinos Karantzalos, participated in the 11th Delphi Economic Forum, highlighting Greece's strategic role in the new European value chain of semiconductors and quantum technologies.
As he emphasized, "We have the talent, we have the research base and the industry, the challenge now is to move from fragmented investments to a clear and coherent roadmap." Greece is already investing in critical infrastructures, such as fiber-optic networks for quantum communications and post-quantum encryption technologies, with the aim of becominga a reliable pillar for Europe's technological autonomy.
The core message of his intervention was the necessity to develop concrete applications that will stimulate the market, enhance the competitiveness of the Greek economy, and attract new investments in the fields of semiconductors and quantum technologies.
