At the Competitiveness Council of the European Union, "Research and Space" dimension, held in Brussels, the Secretary General of Telecommunications and Post, Mr. Konstantinos Karantzalos, participated, representing the Ministry of Digital Governance.
During the session, issues concerning European policy on research, innovation, and space were discussed, with an emphasis on the new framework program Horizon Europe 2028–2034, as well as the progress of the European Space Regulation (EU Space Act).
The participation of the Secretary General is part of the continuous presence of the Ministry of Digital Governance in European processes related to telecommunications, satellite communications, and space applications, contributing to the formulation of policies that enhance connectivity and technological development.
