Greece is strategically investing in space and data technologies, developing a modern ecosystem that integrates microsatellites, advanced technologies, and digital infrastructures. With the aim of developing up to 20 Greek satellites by the end of 2026, with applications ranging from agricultural production and environmental monitoring to the management of critical data, the country is strengthening its technological autonomy and operational capacity.
At the same time, the growing demand for cloud services and artificial intelligence is driving new investments in data centres. Leveraging its geographical position, Greece is emerging as a regional data hub with enhanced geopolitical and economic significance.
