The HSTR program concerns the construction of the Hellenic Space Debris Tracking Radar on Hymettus. The project started in 2023 and has completed the initial and final design phases. The goal is to monitor space debris in low Earth orbit (LEO), enhancing the safety of satellite operations and the protection of critical infrastructure. The project is expected to be completed in 2026.
